Promoting School Mental Health Since 2006

This model represents how a school psychologist works in India where assessments can be done only by a clinical psychologist. This model has been in practice since 2006 and from then it has gone various modifications and alterations and now stands final. This model is successfully used by many school psychologists in and around India.

It is important to remember that the School Psychology India Practice Model does not necessarily represent a job description for every individual school psychologist, but represents the range of services provided by school psychologists throughout the country. How this looks for individual practitioners and in specific places will vary.
